Was Jesus Christian?

Follow Jesus
In my prayer, worship and study time this week I was prompted to ponder the fundamental problem with Christianity. I landed on the fact that Christian is not who Yahoshua (Jesus Christ) was or is. Yahoshua was Spirit filled, kept the Sabbath, observed the Feasts, ate Kosher, and was Jewish. Yahoshua also stated that he only came for the Lost tribes of Israel in Matthew 15:24. In Acts Chapter 11:26 we find that the disciples were called Christian at Antioch, and in 2 Timothy Chapter 3 we find out about the persecution the disciples faced in Antioch. I have been called many things in life but only what Yahuah Elohim says about me will stand. We must call ourselves what He does in obedience. Though the Disciples were called Christian at Antioch by those who persecuted them show me where Yahoshua said He was Christian or the Disciples identifying themselves as Christian.
Why is it a big deal to call yourself Christian? I am not intent on being divisive. Rather let me give an example. In an interview Malcolm X answered questions about why he felt that the Nation of Islam was good for the "Negro." He said the Nation of Islam gave the "Negro" a purpose, identity, kept them from destructive behaviors of alcohol, and drugs and ultimately a high moral character. These are the same reasons he left the Nation of Islam after discovering that Elijah Muhammad violated these principles. I want to focus on the fact that, in my opinion, modern day Christianity is lacking identity, and true transformation. The deceptive teaching that Yahoshua abolished the Law has largely permeated Christianity. So at large, those who say they focus on the teachings of Christ leave out the Torah which Yahoshua (Jesus) did follow. The result is Christians celebrating pagan celebrations as Christmas, Easter, Halloween. Yahuah Elohim said, "My People perish for a lack of knowledge." We must attack our lack of knowledge. We must STUDY! And connect with ABBA in Spirit and Truth, precept upon precept. We are to be lifelong learners, and doers of the perfect Law of Yahuah Elohim, just as Yahoshua did. We know when we are filled with His Spirit based on our will to follow Him. I dare you to trust in Yahweh with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. If you desire further dialogue please contact me! Keep me in your prayers and I will do the same for you!

Christ Came to Fulfill the Law

Matthew 5:17

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19 Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

2 Timothy 3:10

But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, 11 persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 and that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
